What subs to get? Kicker/ JL?etc.....

I'm looking for subs for my 2 door civic. I had JL b4 but they are pricey. Im lookin at maybe 1 12inch Solo baric L5 or 2 kicker comps 12inch. I'm looking to spend about 200-300 for subs amp and box. Any help for any type of subs i should get. I'm not looking for mega bass or real good quality, something that hits hard and decent quality will be fine

Also whats the differance between 2 and 4 ohm. I also don't know which amp to get either

how does an L5 solo baric sound comapre to the kicker comps.

The kicker comp is the bottom of the line whereas the solobarics are made to handle more power and get louder than the comps.

Also the difference between a 2ohm and a 4 ohms speaker just allows you to have different wiring combinations depending on which amp you purchase.

get the 2 ohm version and a zx1000

that way you can buy another 2ohm and have enough power

Save your money and get 2 12" L7s and give them 1000-1500 watts. You will only want more if you get 1 12, at least that was the case for me.
