Ive blown a
Bazooka EL series 10 (very odd how it happened, loved that sub)
Audiobahn flame 10 (good riddance)
Ive also blown random other speakers, like
Some boston acoustics coaxes (Old, and had trash in them and made em scratchy)
Sony X-Plod 6.5" Coaxes (the paper tweeter dry rotted, and the cones were warped)
On a side note, I got a question. When my bazooka sub blew, I took it out of its box (cuz it filled my trunk with smoke), and noticed a smelly black substance in strands in the box. I didnt know what it was at the time (Twas my first sub, I was 15), but im pretty sure it was coil glue or something like that. When i took the sub out, it wasnt frozen in place, and it would still play (very softly) which struck me as odd... and when i put the sub down, cone facing up, the cone would sink down (cone would extend outward if held upside down as well) like there was no suspension left! Can anyone tell me wtf was wrong with it. Never seen one like that.
Sorry for the long tangent.
