Does 2 Sub sound more them 1?

On the same RMS Watts? for example: 2 12" 400 watts, 200Watts each or 1 12" 400watts, regarding the watts they sound about the same my question is which sound better or louder?

Yes it will be louder...

3db's is the rule but, in real life, it varies. Either way, it definitely will be louder.

But when you throw other subs into the equation, impedance changes, gotta worry about that too.
