what subs for a Kicker ZX2500.1?

I have a zx2500.1 and have been looking at the orion hcca 12's. i was wondering if i could run 2 orion hcca's off just one of these amps. i know the subs are 2000W rms a piece. Would doing this hurt the subs in the long run? comments,questions,concerns are welcome

What kind of music do you listen to? Do you want quality or loudness? The subs would be fine underpowered, but don't try and compensate the lack of power with bass boost and end up clipping the signal. This is how probably 80% of subs are blown.

the system is for daily driving but i love loud bass. I had a pair of L7s and one blew.I plan on upgrading my whole electrical the same time i add new subs. I was also thinking of possibly the hcca 10's. You think underpowering the 12's would still be louder than the 10's?

He wouldn't be able to blow a 2000W sub with 500W, no matter how clipped...

Not without the correct ohm load.... Do some research, and try not to be spoon fed. Anyone can tell you any subs. Just go with 5 sony explodes, and you'll be happy. More than likely, your amp will blow because i'm sure your going to try to run the ZX on stock electrical....
