How much of a noticable difference is there between like one type r 12 and one type s 12?

yes the type r will get WAY LOUDER / needs more air space / better make/ prob lasts longer too

Just because you havent heard of a company, doesnt mean its not good. You came here for help and these guys are giving you their opinion on what sounds good with MINIMAL EQing. Trust me, anything soundsplinter will KILL anything type R in SQ, and can match its SPL....

Just buy ONE Assasin....10 or 12....or even a CVR...or Type R, it wont kill your pocket and you can sell it and recover most of your money if you dont abuse it.

I didnt make a thread when I bought my assassins. I just looked at reviews, saw nothing bad and went for it. i run two koda 10s sealed, in a prefab thunderform enclosure. the original mtx t4500s that were in there were decent.
