What songs to use for testing highs, mids, lows?

What songs do you guys use or suggest using to test the highs, mids, and lows of your sound system or any sound system for that matter, to better tune a sound system. I know different genres of music react differently to settings but I'm just looking for a general idea on what to use. I do listen to mostly hiphop, r&b, and rap if this helps. Thanks!

I know different genres of music react differently to settings....
If the goal is to reproduce a recording, the genre is irrelevant. It begins to come into play when discussing listener expectations. The only time I ever use a test disc is when I first install a system. It helps to set gains, gauge phase relationships, etc. After that, I only play music. When tuning, I use tracks that I know very well and would suggest the same for others. Using unfamiliar music is futile, as the listener has no relative gauge as to its sonic goodness, if you will. Basically, use the music that you're very familiar with. Good luck.
