what size port

i am building a box for a 12'' type r. it is going to be 2.5cu ft before sub and port displacement. I am going with a slot port tuned to 34hz. does anyone know what the sq. inches for the port area and how long the port needs to be?

3" wide by how ever high you can go. you can use winisd to figure up the length and everything. i will design you complete cut by cut box plans for $10

WinISD is not very accurate, btw.

it is decently accurate, and i said that b/c he can can it free. i use a program i bought on ebay

i was going to build two seperate boxes for my 2 type rs but now i have decided to build one box to house both. i used winISD and tuning it to 34hz it calls for 3in by 14in and 12.98 in long. does this sound right? i have never used WinISD before.

i tried the caraudio slot calculator and came up with almost the exact same measurements so i guess they are pretty good
