Alright I am wiring up an extra battery. I got a soundstream pca2000d amp that does 2000 watts at 1 ohm and a jle6450 that does 75x4 at 4 ohms. Before my extra batt in tbe back what size fuse do i need? and what size fuse do i need for my 4 gauge going off the battery

na thats the battery im not using a distroblock. Unless someone can reccomend me a good fused distroblock i might do that
i was just looking around online for one for ya... here's one...

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2778

don't know if it comes with a fuse though. i got mine at best buy... rockford fosgate fused distro block... $30 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif still cheaper than 3 inline fuses...

I would do a 300a just to be on the safe side....Im sure a 200a would work just fine tho
300a on all 3 of the fuses listed? wont the 4 gauge wire take smaller fuses? since the jl amp is only pushing out like 400 watts

that's good, i was just looking at sonicelectronics... they got some pretty cheap ones too. imo going with a fused distro block will be easier, and serve the same purpose as fusing all the power lines... your amps have on board fuses right?
im not sure i dont think see there are no fuse inputs on the external part of my amp
