Yeah, from what I've read, the z1a is probably doing 5k at the most at 1.3.

I might be able to fit two mojo 4k's, but I've read that ONE is a current hog, let alone TWO.

I think it would work well, but I can't find one cheap enough. A few months ago, there were a couple out there for $1500, but I missed the boat on that one.

Did you check and see if they were sold? its hard to move huge amps like that at times, and for your situation the jbl would be a badass amp

maxximus wont work
it is a 2ch

you can run each channel as low as 1ohm

but if you bridge than 2 ohm is as low as you can go

I have been running 3) dual 2ohm subs on my Maxximus all year.

I just have 3 coils on each channel for .75 ohms on each channel. I was getting almost 4K per sub.

No problems at all.

Oh no, I am running this amp to 4 subs at finals in a few weeks. Then I will be running a second Maxximus next year. So I gotta buy one more myself.

nah... I haven't checked yet, but that's a **** good idea. I think it was streatdreamscc. Anybody know if he sold 'em?

Did voltage go over 18 at any point?

How bout the subs, did any blow?

I run a 12v system, play daily, demo at shows, and compete. No issues.

No vote for the sampson? At 2 ohms it's supposed to do 8k. If it could handle 1.3, maybe it would do closer to 9? THAT would be awesome!
