what side is the battery on in a Ford Taurus?

Im building a box for a frined, and need to know what side the battery is on.. Driver or Passenger so I can get the wiring laid out correctly. Thanks!!

PS: both of my explorers, my friends explorer, my girls mitsubishi mirage, her moms hyundai elantra all have their batteries on the drivers side. my girls dads jeep cherokee has it on the passanger side. if i HAD to take a guess i would say drivers side

hell I drove one for 3 years for my company, and cant say I EVER opened the hood LOL.... I know what side all MY cars are on, just not the Tortise

If he was not in Mexico on vacation, I would call him.. But thought it would be easier to find someone else that owns one of them.

well i wouldnt open the hood either if i didnt own it. but this is his car so i would assume he's at least looked under the hood. on another note, i can tell you this, as a san diego native. it is not a good idea to go to mexico without any form of communication...so i hope he has a way to be reached.

and if its because he doesnt want to be bothered, tell him to **** off and answer the question, since you are building him a box.
