What shoulod I do

Im just about to order a brand new kicker system through my work, at a more then fare discount. But when I was looking through all the paper work, it gave me an option on my subs, rathers 2ohms or 4ohms. I drive a honda civic coupe, and I was just needing some advice. Also, do you think to L7 12'' would be 2 much, considering I listen to almost all rap, or wouldn it just hit the spot. Thanks in advance for any comments.

My System will contain:

1. AVH-P5700DVD

2. A PAIR OF SS 6.5 KICKER COMPONET SPEAKERS FOR THE FRONT DOORS

3. A PAIR OF KS FULL RANGE 6x9 SPEAKERS FOR THE REAR.

4. SX900.4 225 WATTS X 4 CHANNEL AMP FOR MY SPEAKERS

5. SX1250.1 1250 WATTx1 AMP FOR SUBS. I WAS THINKING OF GETTING TWO, ONE FOR EACH SUB.

6. ELECTRONIC CROSS OVER- 3 STEREO OUTPUT.

i'M RATHER NEW TO ALL THIS SO i JUST NEED SOME ADVICE.

Running a sub on it's own amp will more than likely be to much for your electrical system. There is a member on here, Polecat who can help you. PM him with any questions.

He is a Rep for Kicker.

2 ohms, and I would recommend the L5's if you don't want too much base. Two 12" L7's will be loud as PISS. You could save money and get the L5's and you would be sending them the perfect amount of power.

You'll be underpowering the L7's on one amp, but the L5's would be fine. Get both of them in the 4 ohm version, then wire down to 1 ohm.
