Recently i had a guy tell me that he did 150 db on the tl with

2 type r 12's and a pr1kd

all stock electrical and 1 stinger batt

could this even be possible??? Probably not but post what setup will do a 50 (in the trunk)

haha its very possible. Its all in the install.

I would use 1 10" Funky Pup with the biggest amplifier I could find.

Lots of things will do 150. I'd be willing to bet that setup above never did. If it broke 145 I'd be astonished.

150 legal sealed at the dash is the landmark that most are shooting for. It's not easy to get at all. You've got to TWEAK to get it with a normal install. There are no music setups that just one day go meter and they are magically hitting 150+. You have to know what your peak frequency is and burp at it. You need to know how to adjust everything in your car to eek out the tenths and your box has to be HIGHLY optimized. Granted this is all for a normal street beating setup. If you have crazy equipment you might not have much trouble breaking 150 but chances are that's not the case.

Well speaking from a Trunk stand point theres almost no chance at all the setup mentioned did a 150. In fact I only know 1 other set up with a pr of 10's that can do a 150+ other than mine and its Dave Dasylva in Canada.

It took me almost 2yrs and a 5k amp to hit my 150. Trunks are not easy to get loud lol

He never said metered with a TL or from the trunk in that ad...

Only one organization meters on the windshield with a sealed cabin. Scores are higher in the other orgs. 150 isn't hard to hit at all... I could do it with that equipment or less in my regular cab Chevy on an AC meter.

If you were at the show and know it was dBDrag then nevermind my entire post.
