I can probably make a circle jig, but if its cheap I might buy one.

true you can make an circle jig rather easily. however, with the jasper jig, you can cut holes from 2-1/4" to 18-3/16" with 1/16" incriments. that's a little hard to do with a home made jig. but if you are just going to do cutouts here and there, a homemade jig will be cheaper.

I own several routers (Porter Cable and Hatachi), but this is a great deal from Sears on a "Craftsman" combo kit. That is really a Bosch kit badged as Craftsman. $199 is a deal on that.

Should that router be available in any Sears Department store? I have one in my town and can check there tomorrow. Im going to Macon (mid-large sized city) and they have a Sears as well if its not here.

Looks like Ill have to go check in town tomorrow. The site says it will take 3 weeks to get on in macon so lets hope they have it in town.
