what problems would a crimped speaker wire cause?

Speaker wires were ran into my doors by bieng jammed between the boot where door wires are insulated and the door where the boot is. I re ran the wires thru the boot but the 14 gauge speaker wire is crimped. I taped it for now.

Im gonna replace the wiring but what problems would that cause? Its on all 4 doors

Expect some issues in the near future of damaged wiring/exposed wiring, and amplifier going into protection, and or possibly blowing fuses.Run that wiring correctly man..Taking short cuts only creates more issues,as well as possibly damaging equipment.Think of 25 people running for one exit doorway, and see how many get crammed in that doorwayand how many actually make it through,is the same way the amplification/power to the speakers consist of.

Yea my amp is going into protection mode. Im picking up some wire are redoing everything .
Man..do it correctly, and you can enjoy the proper performance of the speakers.50 watt door speakers will sound pretty nice in a prepped up door with deadner and sealed nicely rather than not and sound like AZZ.Take your time, man, and do it right.Hell ..When I did just one of my doors in my truck, it took like 4 days per door, and worth every minute of it,with the time spent.
