what other subs can i use in my box

i had a custom box made for my two sundown sa15s years ago.

i no longer have contact with the guy who made the box, and i don't know the specs of the enclosure.

i wanna upgrade the subs, but not sure what subs can go in the same box that was built to the specs of the sa's

i've upgraded everything else already (plenty of electrical and 3500w amp) now it's just a matter of the subs. i don't want to get a new box, the one i have is beautiful and matches the interior of my vehicle perfectly. it's pretty solid too, reinforced inside, if need be i could run some all-thread n washers through it for extra support, but doubt it'll need it.

what subs would match close to the sa's and sound good? dc xl's or lvl4's? could i get away with some sundown x's or ia death rows or lethal injections? fi q worth the upgrade? anything else? or am i stuck with the sa's?

Is the box ported or sealed?

what are the dimensions of the box. overall HxWxD then port width n length size of hole if you can rough est length internally thickness of material if you can tell. Then it is easy to see where you can go also is it common chamber or seperated

box is 18" high, 48" long, 21" wide at the top, 24" wide at the bottom

it's kerf ported, and they share a single chamber

i think you will be fine with almost any sub you choose as long as it is a well made box and not some prefab junk you will be ok,will some subs work better then others maybe but no sub you pick will be completly wrong,im going on my 6 pair of 15s in my box and all have sounded good
