What next? 4 8's sealed aren't cutting it.

Unless you port it, those 8s will get lower than pretty much any single 10/12" sub you'll find. Simply because you're moving more air (4 8s have roughly the same cone area as 2 12s. Slightly less, but not much). So either find a way to properly fit a pair of 12s, or stick with the 8s. If you can squeeze the room, I have a custom 12" TC9 I'd trade you for those 8s. Throw it in about 2 cubes tuned to 30-35 Hz. Would work perfectly with that 9.1 too
last time I checked.... 2 8"s= roughly 1 10".... and 2 10"s = roughly 1 12"...

although it depends he should have more cone area than a single 12" sub...

if I remember right...

8" sub= 50.265 sq.in.

10" sub= 78.540 sq.in.

12" sub = 113.097 sq. in.

so his 4 8s have rougly 90% of the cone area he would get with 2 12s of the same model. The math isn'tcompletely accurate, but it's fine for comparison (just pi®^2 for each size. Neglecting differences in surrounds, etc.)

Having had 6 9kv.2s sealed in my Crew for a while (pushed with a 9.1) I would say just build a low tuned ported box. I now have the same speakers in my Lexus with only 3 subs tuned to 30hz and it is as loud as it was before with less power. The enclosure I have is not as linear as the sealed was but output is there. Maybe it's not a problem in your truck but I had a hell of a time with speaker depth. So you may not be able to fit those larger/deeper subs like the FI and similar. But this was again, in a Chevy.
