What MP3 player would be best...?

I don't really want an iPod, but it seem's that all the HU's out there only have adapters for iPods //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I know I could just do an aux-in and plug in any MP3 player, but then I have to change songs and stuff from the MP3 player, and that's not cool at all, but with an iPod and the adapter, I could just control it from my HU.
