I use winamp, but seek times take forever. I plan on getting an SSD eventually.

I like winamp but something it doesnt respond to my skip ahead key on my keyboard like it does it once then wont work for a bit

Not sure if anyone else has this problem

iTunes sucks balls. I use Mediamonkey. Infinitely better than itunes. You can use it to sync an ipod as well.

I also really like foobar2000, but it's not the easiest program to figure out.

Windows Media Player 9. I've tried them all (not all), and seem to always find my way back to Windows Media Player. That's mainly for burning and ripping, but when I do downloads, I manually rename/categorize the music/albums myself, since I don't like most of the ways that media rippers/people name the tracks,

i like itunes also. never liked using wmp or winamp for music, just vids.

none of my keyboard control buttons work on my winamp, but i'm sure if i go through the preferences i can figure it out. i've just never taken the time to do it.

i use itunes for my ipod but i will be checking out that media monkey (didnt know they made another for ipods), i use windows media player for playback of audio and video just for the eq. most FREE media players dont have that nice of an eq in my opinion. but if anyone knows of one let me know....

I don't mind itunes..I just don't like how quicktime jumps in on photos, videos, etc. Tried to change it in preferences...didn't help.
