i was just browsing, as i often do for good deals, and stumbled accross this amp.

What makes this amp worth so much? It doesn't really put out alot of power, unless it is highly underrated. just wondering if anyone has heard of the brand, and what could possibly make it cost so much. like is it really worth that much more over a say a kicker amp rated the same, or even jl which in price i think is expensive?

that amp is a pretty rare beast of an amp...

tru tech is a company based out of california, their products are all hand built one by one, they put out more power than they are rated for, and they sound amazing. i have owned several, and would own them again if the price was right (i actually own probably one of the rarest items to come out of their shop ever //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

but to answer your question, there isnt any one thing that makes it better/worth more than an equivelant amp. but they are rare, they have a great aesthetic appeal, and an amazing sound quality. all that being said, they are not that much more expensive than anything that will be its equivelant.

san diego does breed some stupid people it appears... if you want someone to explain things to you, try to ask them for reasons instead of attacking.

im not even going to waste my time explaining things to you, i can already tell you arent willing to learn. i have owned the brand before, i know the brand is great. i know that they will sound great, i know that they will produce more than enough power for most anyones needs, while still sounding great. i know that they are incredibly efficient amplifiers. and i know that if i was in need of an amp of that caliber, i wouldnt look any further. and i know that anyone that thinks that all amplifiers are going to sound the same, and thinks this is just "bragging rights" is stupid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i have heard of that.

It just caught my eye, seeing as there is not too many amps, especially 4channel that cost near that much.

i think it is a very good looking amp that i would be proud to show to people. most likely one of the best looking amps i have ever seen, imo. i was just wondering if there was anything in particular that made it worth so much, like in features, and such. i did read the description, and it sounds like it is a really well built amp, with alot of care taken in assembly, also very rare as they and you guys have said, but does that make it worth $1500 more than something comparable? i guess to some it would. i was just taken back by the price a bit.
