What Makes Bass - Go Out of the car

i dont know why you guys have to be smart azzez, guy was only askin for help and understanding.not like any of you dont want to be heard, any one who sticks 2 15's in a vehicle runnin 2500 watts, doesnt want to be heard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
I'll be running a single 15 of 500-600w. No, I don't want to be heard, because then I get a ticket. That's why windows up, cranked up, you can't hear much from the outside, but inside its plenty loud.

Like a kid down the street from me has 2 12" subs, im not sure of the Wattage of his stuff, but idk.. He has a Jeep and i can hear his system from 5 houses away. Mine, maby i can hear a bit of it from just 1 house away.
i wouldnt worry about the kid down the street......if he keeps bumpin hard around the same area, especially if hes bumpin around where he lives his system will get stolen anyway.....and that should be good incentive to keep YOUR bass in your car......attention=theft

I just made my sun roof into an infinite baffle/blowthough setup. Sounds great inside because you *ARE* the enclosure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Sounds great outside too, kickin it loud at party's n shit.

I cut the bottom 6 inches off my hatch so the rear deck speakers run IB too, and I poured salt water down inside my door till the bottom rusted out so the door speakers were IB also.

Free air everywhere yo

And once you do so, you appreciate music for actually being music, and not just bass.
You know, I'm 17, and I hit that stage. My sub runs off of 200 watts. And it's fine and dandy for me. Feels good. I'm not considering spending thousands of dollars on several thousand watts.

x2 at telling the guy down the street to invest in deadening.

And 3/4ths of the max on the HU is about maximum volume. Just an fyi for you. You're pushing it to it's max already.

Truth. When I was younger I almost had my setup jacked, and it was wasn't all that either. I lucked out that my friend new the guy that was going to steal my setup and he decided not to do it since I was a friend of a friend...what a nice thief.
