What makes an amp a good quality one?

I would like to know what makes an amp good and high quality? Is it b/c they put in high quality capacitors? Brand? Designs? Heavy heatsinks? If capacitors, then you can just solder high quality capacitors into a cheap amp.

Its not something you can break down simply, power supply, quality boards and components mosfets, capacitors, resistors etc. So many people use similar boards and components due to the lack of americanbuild houses. Now its more of reputation and a company that will stand behind thier products. An amp that actually puts out rated power without being able to fry an egg on it.

it is the name on the heat sink. that is what creates all the pixy dust that make the magic power on the output stage.
