Sub #1

1ohm + 1ohm = 2ohm

Sub #2

1ohm + 1ohm = 2ohm

Then both subs @ 2 ohms are series

2ohm + 2ohm = 4ohm

Just check it with a True RMS DMM and sleep good. I would check both Voltage and Resistance.
