Only plan on running a Kicker zx1500 for now...Shouldnt have much voltage drop. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif But may try to run 3k and see what it does...

shouldn't have any voltage drop on that 1500 with that alt and batts... I get a mast of .5 drop on 750watts... pluss 160watts 4chann.. from 14.4 to 13.9-.8 full tilt on stock alt 105 amp / 65 amp idle .. no big 3 yet... yellow top battery

Only running 4 8" skars...so I dont really need much more than 2-2.5k. Just curious if my electrical was up to par. Havent heard much about how much power the 8s can take...but I'd be willing to say they wont like too much over RMS.

The alt will just keep voltage up better but you need power from somewhere lol. But you could do 3k with what you have just not as well as you could do it.

I say 4k+.

Hell Im running an SAZ 3k @ .67 with only 2 batts (185 ah total) and an 80A alt. I get terrible voltage drop unless its revved up a bit, and even still.. it barely stays above 12V.
