What kinda amp?

Alright, i'm looking for a different amp to run with my 12" polk gnx series subs. Right now they're in a bandpass box....getting my custom box made when i get some more cash. I have a american legacy 600w 2chn amp. Any ideas or comments would be appreciated...thanks

what is your budget?

what is the rms rating of your subs?

are you getting a ported or sealed box?

Single 4 ohms.... 12" PolkAudio GNX124's. As to box type, i'm not really sure yet. It depends on how my box is made..More or less it'll probably be a sealed box.

Id look for something thats 2ohm mono stable that will give you around 400w rms. Thats a rather small amount of power, but all those subs need, and like. If your after somethign really cheap that will give you the power you need the JBL BP300.1 would work, its not the greatest, but its solid and reliable. If you want something thats a little nicer, and is easier to use perhaps the MTX 6250d, although any "good" amp that does around 400w rms @ TWO ohm mono will do you fine.
