What kind of subs should i get

I was wondering what kind of subs I should get for my car.I have a 73 dart custom so i have a whole lot of space to work with.I want to have a ton of bass but at the same time I want it to be clear bass.Also what size amp should i get to power it.I could probably even get 15's maybe?I don't know i am new to this stuff.I don't really care about price right now i just need to know what is the best to decide if I will get them or not.

For amps I'd go with:

hifonics off ebay. They are cheap and from what I've heard perform well.

or

go with planet audio. I'm running planet audio amps and I'm very happy with them. You can pick these up on ebay also or go to http://www.electronicgiant.com

Everything he said is great except for elemental designs. Many many people have had problems with their subs. The v2's might be nice, but I would go RE.

I would also look into the adire shive. It is a great sub you could run at 4 ohms.

have the flat cone Ks, have had a problem with the but they are very good with their three year warrenty. their new ones should have the problems worked out, hince the normal cone and not flat.

however lots of people like RE too. just read the posts on this site and see what u think would fit your taste.
