What kind of subs for a 89 camaro

My friend is wanting to know what kind of 12 inch subs would sound good in his camaro.He has built a box for three twelves already.He is just wanting to know what brand and style would sound best in his car.

Convertable or what?

I've got an '89 IROC Convertable ... so I'd be able to help somewhat specifically in that area.
