Doesnt have the tools to drill though a rubber gromit in the firewall to install a 0\1 guage cable? The shop called me today and began to give me the run around...

-Yeah, you bought a 0\1 guage kit, its too big. You need to buy a 4 guage kit.

-I gave you a reducer to use at the amp, it'll work fine.

-Well, we cant get it though the firewall...

-Where did you try to get it through? Passengers or drivers side?

-We tried both

-On the passengers side, there is a rubber gromet which has the existing wiring running through, it has ample room to drill another hole and run that cable through.

-Well, we dont have a drill bit large enough. You need to buy 4 guage.

-So you're telling me no one there has a drill bit large enough to drill a hole through rubber for the cable?

-Well, you can bring it back on saturday, someone else might have one...

this is the Circuit City in Ledgewood NJ, there really isnt anywhere else to get it installed around here, and its only like 10 minutes from me, so I figured I'd let them try. I payed for the install already too, only cost 40 after I used my giftcards...

They're trying to install my JBL\Crown BPX1100.1 and my W10GTi MKII's, I didnt have the tools needed to do it myself, otherwise it'd me done already.

gc payed for install...

and as for takin it to cc to begin with... like I said, I payed for it with giftcards... didnt think they could screw up running a wire. The box, and wiring the subs and subs to the amp I did myself. I just needed them to run the **** power cable. and the rubber is too thick for the razor blades, I tried that myself, but couldnt get it.

I have the card for someone else here that does installs, fiberglass and everything else, I will prob give him a call. Im waiting till after saturday, cause the guy doing it on saturday is supposedly pretty good. The others there are real dipsh*ts though.

I would install my own stuff, but I am a hs student, spent my money on that equipment, and cannot pay for the tools.

So go to Sears and get them a drill bit and tell them to take that price off the install...if that grommet is as thick as the one on my Silverado you won't get through it with a razor blade
