Just when I was comfortable with my choice and thought I made up my mind, I came across Alpine Fiat 500 Taifun project.
My car is a Mazda RX7 (FD) and I am trying to put together a nice sound system for my car. The car originally comes with 4 or 5" speakers in the front and something like 5x8 speakers in the back.
What I've been told so far by so many salesmen was to forget about installing any components or speakers in the back even though I have the space for it. Their reason was first of all it'd ruin the SQ and our ears are designed to hear things infront etc. and secondly interior of my car is small so I didn't need any staging or fill from the back and only a pair of comps and a sub would be plenty enough.
So I planned to put together a setup like this:
Head unit: JVC KD SX998R
Front: Alpine SPX-17pro or Alpine SPR-17s (currently trying to decide which one to buy)
Rear: ?????????
Sub: Rockford Fosgate P2D210
Amp: Alpine MRP-F600
But then I saw this:

In the video it says Alpine did not design something crazy and out of reach, they designed this system for the car enthusiasts and it's something an enthusiast can afford. This makes me wonder why Alpine used components for front and rear in 500's small interior similar to my RX7 when everyone else told me not to get anything for the rear (incl. components)?
