what kind of equ?

I think im goign to buy an equilzer and i have decided on these 2 unless u guys give me some other's to choose from. Phoenix Gold TEQ6 is one and the other is a kicker kq9. i know the phoneix is a 6 band and the kicker is 9 band. I have an eclipse 5425 headunit, but i want a tad bit more control. My amps im goign to running from to the equ. is 2 diamond d3400.2 for the subs and a memphis 70.2 for the front comps. will gettign an equilzer make my amps louder. also if i dont get an equilzer i may get a soundstream bx-10 just for the subs. any thoughts would be help full. thanxs

Why don't you buy a nice Kenwood excelon or Pioneer premier they have that stuff built right in.

An EQ won't make you're amps any more powerful.

An AudioControl EQX will give you a 13 band EQ, a 2 way crossover and a line driver all in one. Just a thought.
