First of all welcome to the forum. Second of all, what is your budget?? There are alot of good manufacturers of head units that offer HUs in a wide range of prices so a budget would be a good start.

X2 on that Excelon,as a 9830 previous owner the Excelon which I use now SMOKED the 9830 in almost every area I can think of so I shipped it back to crutchfeild

IMO a 589 or even a 789 would make an excellent HU

plus they are Bichin in lookin

YES... unless you're looking for an HU thats very simple to use (read: "HU's for dummies") like I am currently. If thats the case, I find the really high end Alpines to be unwieldly in usage.
