what kind of diff does this make

what kind of diff will it make to have 1 great sub with two avg subs compared to jsut the great sub,if i still have my old subs and i can put them in my car until my friend gets the money to buy them from me but i have to get a box and cords for them,my sub i have now is the mtx 9512-44 and the two subs from my old set up r 2 400 wrms subs and a power acoustik 800 wrms gothic series amp,would it be worth it to buy a new box and cords or will it make any diff in sound
