what kind of cord do i need for a mp3

Okay i did a search and couldnt find shit.... what kind of cord do i need to hook up a mp3 player to my pioneer player,, there is a aux input,, i just dont know if there is a special cord or what@!!! all this mp3 player came with is a usb cord... so lmk thanks.. P)

you need a 1/8" stereo phono to dual RCA's...RadioShack sells a cord like this for 6 bucks or so.

so its like a RED/white into 1,,, so the piece that i need looks like a Y?? and i would need 2 right?

One end would look like a normal headphone jack for the MP3 player, and the other end will have 2 RCAs (probably one red and one white). You should only need one

well there is only 1 input for the aux,, and 1 input on the mp3 player.... if i have a red/white cable ,, which one do i plug in??? isnt the red for the right sound, and white for the left????

you'll have to get the auxilary input adapter for your headunit if you haven't gotten it already

The only auxiliary input I found was the CD changer input. Looks like its a special Pioneer connector. You may be able to get an adapter... I'm not sure

You need two things. First, a CD-RB10, which will turn your CD changer input into a set of standard RCA jacks:

You'll then need a 1/8" stereo jack to RCA splitter.

Attach the CD-RB10 to the back of your deck, and then the RCA splitter to the CD-RB10, then plug that in to your MP3 player. Now enable the Aux source on your deck, start up your MP3 player, and you're good to go!
