what kind of component set?

hi...i have a s12L7 and a memphis 16-pr1kd....im thinking about buying a component set for around $100 on ebay....right now i have some bose speakers that came with the car but i dont think its good enough.....does it make a big difference if i get a component set? and if i did is it easy to installl...would i need another amp for it?....wat brands do you think are good for around 100....i saw some infinitys on ebay....wat do you think?
