What kind of amp should I get for these subs? Kicker Dual 12" 2-Ohm 1600 Watts CompVR

I'm looking for a good amp to push these subs I got so far. They are a pair of Kickers Dual 12" 2-Ohm 1600 Watts CompVR.

Any amp that will do around 800-1000rms at 2ohm's will work. Since you're getting kicker subwoofers get the amp to match. You probably find a 750.1 (273 on online car stereo) or 1000.1 ($369 on onlinecarstereo). I would personally go with the 1000.1 myself so you will have a little extra power on tap in case you ever decide to upgrade to a better woofer.

It comes down to how much you wana spend.I think you can spend little less then what a kicker amp will cost you and you can still get a nice amp. The link you posted is that what your buying?
