he said they were DVC2, so thats eaither 1ohm per speaker or 4ohm per speaker, and i know for a fact that he would be using the 4ohm load form a 2 channel amp.Well, if you're on a tight budget have a look here and scroll down to the refurbed CA600. Rated for 225w/channel @ 2 Ohms and as Profile is slightly overrated it ought to hit right on the money for the top-end of your drivers' RMS rating.
Tough to beat for the price - $65 + shipping factory direct with a valid warranty. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Certainly the suggestions from Polecat and denim would be on the money, too, but I don't know what kind of $$$ you're wantingto spend so I was aiming for a suggestion on the other end of the monetary spectrum from the Kicker units already posted.
Whoops! You're right - I just had 2 Ohms on the brain and went from there. Then the same link applies but he should look to the 600MSX which will give him 410w @ 2 Ohm which he can achieve with a pair of 2 Ohm DVC drivers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifhe said they were DVC2, so thats eaither 1ohm per speaker or 4ohm per speaker, and i know for a fact that he would be using the 4ohm load form a 2 channel amp.
just got them today.. will put pis up in a min..by chance did you buy these 8's yet?
i wold STRONGLY recommend getting DVC4 so you can get a 2 channel amp for them and run them 2ohm stereo. it will be a cheaper amp and will get you more power to each one.
