here bro.... get two dd 1508s dual 4s put them in about 3.5 cubes tuned to 35hz and a mtx mono 1500 wire them parallel to 1ohm. and plugum in

3.5 cubes with 1500 watts is to big of a box, right around 2 would be fine i think that setup would probably be more than he wants to spend also. what is your budget for an amp and subs?

ok then he should just keep one hx2 sub and sell the other and the jbl amp and use that money to buy a nice 500w mono amp and have some extra cash in his pocket.
