What kind of amp and subwoofer should I get?

I have a pair of Pioneer TS-A6965R already installed, which are each 4ohm and 60rms. The power on these isn't all that great and need an amplifier

I want to get an amplifier to set up these and a single subwoofer. I prefer to have a 10-12 inch woofer (I just want the base response, not bounce my neighborhood)

What kind of subwoofer should I get? (watts, RMS, impedence, etc.)

And what kind of amp should I get? (Watts, channels, bridging, etc.)

Thank you so much.

I drive a Volvo 850 but I'm just trying to find out the watts and ohms I should be working with. I've been told to get a 4 channel amp, connect the two speakers and bridge the sub to the last 2 channels. I got that, and I'm looking at a Pyramid PB618 2,000-Watt 4-Channel Bridgeable Mosfet Amplifier, but will that be too much/too little for the speakers? If not what kind of sub should I get?

No....please, no. Hit up mylows10, he can help, so can of few other of the vendors on here. Do a chit load of research, have a budget in mind, and peruse the classifieds on here. Whatever you decide to use, remember, quality is king. If you have to, buy the gear seprately, save money, get something else. That's the best way if you are on a tight budget. But most important; NO on that amp, and research, research, and then, research.

Exactly the pyramid amp is utter garbage as far as a 4 channel. Maybe. I'd go for a 3 or 5 channel. Or get a sub and amp for the sub. Then possibly a small 2 channel for the speakers. Do you have a aftermarket deck ?

Yeah I know to research a lot

That was just an example amp that met a vague description I got from another "expert"

I just need an amp that will power my speakers and one sub lol

Use a distro block for power then split the wires to each amp. Ground each amp separately Actually pretty easy. Rcas from the back of the deck as well as the blue remote wire to the amp or amps. Done I have 2 used amps for sale if interested as far as a sub. You'll need to figure out how much room you wanna lose for the sub and box to tell what size sub

Ok so I decided on a 4 channel amp and a 10 inch sub

I'm deciding between Kenwood Kac-8405 or Alpine MRP-F300 for the amp

And just a simple 10 inch Dual SBX100 for some base response

And comments? Does this sound like a good setup?

Nooooooo !!!!!!! The alpine is ok the rest is junk don't waste your money. Give me a budget and I'll see what I can do for you

Not much if a budget I would get better equipment a little at a time or save more cash I have an amp for $130 shipped. Also have the wires and a 2 channel but all of it would put you over $200 by about $50
