so, I took a break a, a ways before this new not sure whatever you wanna call it, latest version of ca.com... I semi-retired after my last build in the expedition and been doing this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
got this 50cc 4 stroke, 4spd semi auto
and stripped it to the frame and did a full rebuild on it (my 1st time really playing with any power sport or rebuild of any kind other than stereo really LOL and I never do a clean job (never once successfully carpeted a box lol) covered different parts in different types of paint (exhaust, frame ect.)
don't laugh, all these pix were with my phone then uploaded from there to my facebook lol. at least it was some sort of build log lol. these were my 1st ever ridable toys that I owned //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif the chopper and pitbike both for $120, not running and brakes were frozen and more than you can even see lmfao... ended up ok with all the elbow grease and end results being something I was actually not too embarassed to ride on while being seen lmfao
the pitbike also needed a rear shock, and a back tire/tube, I'll skip the drama, the guy actually told me to take the chopper too or I couldn't buy the pitbike and it ended up being alot more work than he said to get them going but I did get them going eventually and sold them for a total of $550 iirc but did put money into them to get them to that point. I think I made out $200-300 profit but that's not counting all the labor I had into it. I deleted most of the pitbike pix. but here it is with the multi-color paint scheme it had and after I blacked it out.
oh, when I sold the chopper, I bought two non running suzuki LT80 2 stroke mini quads lol.
one of the mini quads needed the crank swapped (sold that one to a buddy who said he'd do it) the other I had to do some electrical on, clean the carb, put in a battery fix the brakes, change the bald tires (yeah, starting to sound like alot) rejet the carb, retro a grab bar on as the rear stock one (part of the frame) was busted off, frame also has cracks which I haven't bothered to fix to date but I did pick up a 3rd LT80 *traded for a HD3 and storm x2 neo 12" locally with boxes to some kid* that I stripped for parts so will eventually possibly get that frame done up in some nice candy plum powder coat or something still debating... anyway, here's how that project is going now, my son does alot better on 4 wheels lol. so here's his 2nd ride on it the week after I 1st got them (got the one running the next day and it's been a work in progress ever since lol)
