Just wanna throw this out there. The people who are anti vax it’s not that they don’t believe In medical treatments like antibiotics, fungal treatments, surgeries etc. They just don’t believe in getting vaccines. Most of them feel they are a money maker more then they are an absolute requirement for one’s health. Like getting vaccinated for something that the risk of death is just not really there for the average person (covid, the flu, chickenpox etc).

I had Chickenpox in my 20s and I wish to hell they had the vax for that for my generation. The anti-vaxxers probably wouldn't face as much criticism if they didn't try use disinformation to convince others to join their cause.

There are people who have never been vaccinated in their life. People born in the 1980’s and after there are some that never got vaccinated. As a child I had the bare minimum and then never got anymore vaccines after 1989 until I got the HPV vaccine in my early 20’s cause I was a paranoid horn dog . Those that have personal opinions on not to get vaccines it doesn’t bother me at all. Regardless if I think it’s stupid or not. I’m also not bothered about the people on any political side who lie to support their narrative. I think the people in this country are capable of knowing what is bs and what isn’t.

When it comes to the medical community, it isn’t always right and it’s definitely not always safe either. I think history has proven that with the amount of drugs pulled from the market and the amount of law suits that this country sees (15,000-18,000 annually). I think we forget sometimes it is all tied to money and anytime money is involved in many cases it’s the main driving factor. I understand those who don’t want to take vaccines as law doesn’t allow anyone to sue. I think all these points are enough for a person not to want to get them and I respect that. I also respect those who decide to get them as well. I most definitely don’t believe in the 5g thing and that stuff but I don’t even acknowledge it, I simply just ignore it.

I disagree on two counts. One, clearly the population's BS meters don't work very well. Two, in the case of the covid vax, it was an important healthcare decision and IMHO it would have been nice for that decision to be based on facts rather than lies (from both sides). Look at how many people's lives have been negatively impacted because Trump fed them a lie about stolen elections. Look at rioting and subsequent massive policing/crimes problems that have resulted from BLM propaganda and lies?

The bs meter works fine, it doesn’t work on those who are far left or right. Those are the people we tend to see mostly which makes it look worse. One thing most of us have us a short term memory! That is the biggest problem I think we have. All the lies that lead to left and right wing riots etc is all part of the game in a free country. You have the right to free speech, even hate speech, even lying if you want. It isn’t illegal to be a bigot. I think that is what makes our country so great. In other places, we follow them and if you talk a way they don’t like, you get killed for it.

I think it’s pretty amazing as I’m writing this that trumps interview on Twitter with tucker has already gotten 211 million views!
