It's the attempt to change the results or rig the election that seems to be the problem.
He is charged with: "conspiracy to defraud the United States, witness tampering, conspiracy against the rights of citizens, and obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding".
All charges related to his battle cry that the only valid election is an election he wins.

So he allegedly broke those laws and now we must wait till a jury decides. If a jury finds him not guilty, I wonder if all the democrats will apologize for being wrong? He is already guilty by those on the left just like hunter Biden is already guilty by those on the right. It’s all political and I will bet anything it’s gonna start sinking in very soon these cases will not do what the left wants. Next step will be to try to use the 14 amendment so he can’t run and that will fail too. This will never end till he either wins and can’t run anymore or he decides to never run again. My opinion of course
