That doesn't change the fact that in the US you can both own firearms and defend yourself. I'm sure if Rittenhouse would have known acquiring that AR would have led to deaths he would have made a different choice.

He simply had to say, "I just shot three people." It was that simple. I'm sure the police would've liked to know that.

Supposedly that's what he did. The audio in the video clearly has people yelling "Dude just shot somebody" as he approached the police. That's on the cops not on Rittenhouse.

I wouldn't hung around. I would have been looking to get out of there; looked for either police or "friendlies." People were yelling "Get him, He's the shooter, he shot somebody" etc.

And then you tell the police because they are "friendlies."

It was more than a plastic bag. There was an armed protester on the scene, Rosenbaum had previously threatened to kill Rittenhouse (and company) if he caught them alone. Rittenhouse had every reason that Rosenbaum was attempting to follow through on his promise.

I don't see the relevance of his altercation with that girl. I'm sure he was scared and I'm sure he knew he fucced up. Does that mean he isn't remorseful. Isn't knowing that you fucced up part of being remorseful?

Because it shows his propensity for violence. It shows his pattern of behavior. Just like when a person is accused of something and ten people from their past testify that they did the same thing to them. Pattern of behavior. Rittenhouse was a thug who got away with playing cop that night. Now teenagers will feel empowered to do the same thing that he did. The courts have showed that Rittenhouse didn't do one thing wrong and now he is a multi - millionaire because of it. He is a hero to millions.

He brought the gun because he didn't want to get his azz kicked by grown men. You think he would've made a different choice. That gun did nothing but incense the crowd and you know it. What if Rittenhouse was 15? What if he was 12? It's perfectly legal for a 12 year old to carry an AR - 15 and protect themselves.

Isn’t that what happened on flight 93? Isn’t that what we expect teachers to do in active shooter situations in schools? “Let’s roll”.

Now, what if the 3rd guy had dropped Rittenhouse b/c he believed he was an active shooter? Would he be supported by the same people who are supporting Kyle, or would he be called a criminal and vilified for his actions?

He may have been pointing out Thxone’s disgust with one of the dead who had previously been incarcerated for domestic assault, while Kyle commits domestic assault.
Ironically, Thxone has himself admitted committing domestic assault.

If that proves Rittenhouse's propensity to violence...then the past actions of the 3 shot indicate Rittenhouse had every right to feel threatened...can't have it both ways...
