Drumpf increased gov't spending by $100 MILLION more in four years than Obama did in eight. Additionally, Drumpf tried another go at trickle down theory by tax cuts.
So, he DECREEASED income while he INCREASED spending. This GUARANTEES more debt.
'Kind of like if you took out a loan on your own house to live in after you quit a job.

Please explain how "Republicans don't want more debt" with those facts in mind.
Let's see. $1.9T "Covid Relief Bill" and Republicans were against it. Why, because of all the EXTRAS Pelosi and her followers were adding to it that had nothing to do with COVID!!!! How much of that $1.9T went to actual COVID related things?

The parties just get kick backs in different ways. Democrats use the government system more with contract fraud to enrich their friends and family, republicans take more of a private market route and help their business owning friends get rich through tax breaks and loopholes and get their kick backs that way. Of course both sides do it both ways now, but that was the main difference in the means of corruption in my opinion. We the people are getting fvcked on both ends of this deal.

Rob I was a FF'er and EMT in Illinois. I was told this from the day I joined and we were reminded every 3 months of this. I know it is in regards to a FF'er and EMT, I would figure on it also goes to doctor's, police and nurses as well. This is in Illinois that all this happened. I made sure that while not in district I did not have my blue light on my dash. Nor could I have it mounted in Chicago but that is because Chicago Police use blue lights.

I still have many friends in Illinois that are in that line of work and we have talked about it many times on how you have to be careful when out in public life. One reason why many FF'ers do NOT get those plates regardless if it is a volunteer or paid dept.

Heck till the day I die I can be pulled into court for ANY accident, Fire or ambulance call I was on. Another thing they tell you when you sign up. Not that it will happen (knock on wood) but it is something that is told flat out when you sign up.
I did a not-in-depth search and found this in regards to a communique` from an attorney in Connecticut:
"We could not find any Connecticut law that requires volunteer firefighters or EMTs to stop and render assistance when they are not acting in their official capacity as a firefighter or EMT. But if they choose to do so, they are given some protection by the “Good Samaritan Law.”
Now, it says "volunteer", but I would think they would mention paid EMTs if there was a law that pertained to that group.

Maybe it varies by state since you have experience in Illinois and we all know how widely statute can swing from one state to the next?

Government officials should be capped at $100,000 a year salary. Any monies above that need to be investigated.
There is supposed to be financial disclosures, but you can just have your cousin, or wife, son, or even an old frat buddy do everything instead. They all get away with it. The current president and our last one did it this way.

Well you are given "some" protection by that Good Samaritan Law but not much. Say if you stop and end up doing medical stuff to save the patient/s before an ambulance arrives and you don't save them you could be sued there as well. Hence why you don't advertise you are a FF'er on your vehicles. And yes it is possible for it to be different but I had it drilled into my brain from day one and they still do down there. Not like Illinois isn't full of BS laws to begin with. I just know I was careful outside of my huge district. And even when I went paid before I got hurt I didn't have any item on my car outside of my Volunteer District. Wasn't worth the risk of even thinking about being sued and down there...oh man the lawyers swarm like hawks when something like that comes up!

Instead of asking us to support your argument, give us a list of things in the bill not related to COVID. Then, look at the Pandemic Relief bill that happened under Drumpf, and create a similar list.
Be honest.

And again, please explain how you think increasing spending while decreasing income when we were already operating in the red is a way to "reduce debt" by the Republicans.
I know math troubles you. You may phone a friend for help.

WHEW! Lotsa words:

Being force to render assistance, then allowing people to sue for rendering assistance would be a REALLY shltty way for lawmakers to set things up. I hope that's not actually the case, but little surprises me any more.

Exactly I know that every dept down there drills that into their FF'ers heads from day one. It sucks because you want to help but then you think "what happens if this happens and then I end up in court screwed for the rest of my life" kinda thing.

It claims in there they claim anyone with training is exempt but not buying it. Those dept's are very careful on their training and what they tell the people that work there. They wouldn't be doing it if can't happen. Dept I was on was the 3rd largest at that time with one station running around 2000 fire calls and another 3000 ambulance calls for a 5,000 town. Plus all the rural areas they have since added a ton more to the area they cover but finally added a 2nd dept as well out towards I55 after fighting for one for 30 years. They have also been full time paid as well for the last 15 before that it was just paid ambulance coverage from 7-7 and everything else was volunteer on both sides.

Quick questions Rob... How does Trumps diick taste? Is it orange too? Is your asss sore from letting the current administration use you as their phuck boy? Why do you insist on continuing to talk about Trump. Are you afraid to talk about Biden?

Why is it so hard for you people to look at the people you voted for with the same scrutiny as the previous president? Pelosi was padding bills under Trump too. Holding bills hostage until she go more and more of what her people wanted. It's the same person/people doing the overspending now as it was then.

Here's how I look at it: The current guy is compared to the last guy. It's how it is and how it always will be.

Were things better with Drumpf than with Obama? Things were worse.
Are things better or worse with Biden than with Trump? Things are better. Does that mean he is the greatest ever? No.
But if things are better, then he is doing a better job for our country.
Period.

You are strangely fixated on homosexual acts for someone who is so **********. Does anyone else notice that?

Go learn about the economy before you talk about how/where money is spent. Check into the Republican plan to give BILLIONS to big business with NO stipulation that prevented them from simply buying back their own stock at a deflated price so they could reap the rewards when the market recovered. Good use of money?
Giving extra money to people who were out of work directly due to COVID so they could pay their bills (ie the money went directly into the economy) when 75% of America lives paycheck to paycheck? Makes a shltload more sense.

Would you really like to go toe-to-toe on how the economy works, given that 5th grade math confuses the hell out of you?
When you're talking Trillions of dollars, percentages are used a LOT.

In my opinion, the economy has migrated too much to the middle and stayed there for too long. I think we would be better off going either to a simply and strictly regulated free market or, go the other way and do full on democratic socialism. The way it works now, if you add up federal tax, state tax, county tax, city tax, sales tax, property tax, etc., we are already taxed at democratic socialist levels without any of the benefits that democratic socialism actually provides, at least 98% of us are. That hasn’t changed regardless of who is president.

Same on border policy. This half closed half open border down here needs some serious help. Either shut it down or open it up. One or the other. This BS about letting immigrants in here without any documentation to actually live in our country,, like buy a house, buy a car, open a credit line, etc. etc. and claim you’re “helping immigrants” is a load of BS. I say open that border up and make a quick paper trail so they can actually live here right.
