They don’t do this to kill people. They do it to be more informed about the way viruses mutate and change so they can be prepared. No one is saying he is trying to kill people. They are saying he is covering up that his foundation funded the gain of function research in Wuhan used to create these viruses. I don’t think Fauci was trying to hurt people. Some of the more extreme conservatives take it a step farther in their language, but that’s what they do on every political issue.
You’re right. It was a foundation of which he is a board member. He does have a strong voice in the NIH though, so he is definitely in the know. They did fund gain of function research in wuhan which he for sure knew about. There are labs right here in the US that also do the same type of research that wuhan does.

Polio is not a mutating airborne virus. Still not comparable to covid no matter how much you want it to be.
