I was browsing through selectproducts.com and came ran across a matt in the fiberglass Mat section. I am wonderig what this is actually. Any help would be helpful

Maybe its what they want u to use if u dont have fleece. Those prices seem pretty high for FB mat.

hmm it doesnt seem like it would be able to stretch. I have always used grill cloth stretchy and easy for the resin to soak all the way through.

It's used to build a lot of thickness in one layer rather than building up thickness with a ton of applications of regular mat. As far as good, it depends on what you are trying to achieve and whether it will do want you need. I wouldn't be trying to work it into complex curves or anything like that if I were you. But if you need to thicken a large area quickly, it should work very well. Think of it as a large fiber sponge that you will fill all the gaps in with resin.
