Box : 17"D x 32"W x 14"H

L Port : L = 25 H = 12 W = 1.5

3/4" MDF wood

I'm wondering what the Internal Volume and Tuning Frequency would be ?

Is Vas the diplacement of the sub if so it's : 90.51

Put your money towards a custom box....many confident and qualified builders right here on this site....some even offer DIY boxes if u can at least assemble one..

I've seen the awesome work these guys do. The shipping though is a bit much. That prefabbed box is 80 bucks shipped, but i understand lil to no time is put into the quality and build of them prefabbed boxes. It was a shot in the dark. Thanks for all the info.

The DIY box may be something to look into.

All though "prefab" is a cheap option, the enclosure is the back bone for you sub stage. Those enclosures have nothing in mind other then sell sell sell. Any of the enclosure vendors on the forum will work with what you have specifically.

For us, our DIY enclosure gets the same amount of attention when designed as our fully built enclosures. We take your enclosure, vehicle, and goals to make up a design that will net the results you want.

Being in South TX shipping should not be that much at all really.

Pro rabbit how hard would it be to do a box like the one i have shown below. I have 12 inch CVR's . The box does not have to be fancy like the way the speaker is flush, i really don't even care for the carpet. I just want something simple so i can hear the difference of a ported enclosure. I have a Yaris Sedan so i don't have a whole bunch of trunk space.

I'll probably have to stay in this size box : 17"D x 32"W x 14"H

Would it be possible with this type of design ?

You only have around 3.5ft3 gross to work with. That is not really enough room to work with 2 12" ported correctly.

Anyone can build something to fit with in your limits. However, it would not be working at full efficiency. You could use a precision port to attempt and make up for the lacking of space, but that will likely drive up the cost.

Hey Rabbit, I've always kind of wondered what a builder thinks of those Kicker boxes? Junk?
I don't like them. lol

Okay i grabbed my tape measure and i can go a bit more on the height
L = 32 D = 17 H = 16.5

Not much buy maybe another 1/2 cube of airspace.
That is not so bad to work with. 4.1ft3 still sorta small for kickers though..but I can run some numbers and see how it will perform.

Sounds great . Email is emp.id_2662@ymail.com

If you can throw me a quote just on the build. Like i said before carpet is not a necessity. And the front does not have to be flush. I just want simple. On the next set of subs i get, i'll go all mack daddy with the works. For now i just want to hear what a ported box does.
