what is the tuning of this box for 15" alpine type R

hello guys,

i am designing a box for my 15" alpine type R. but different softwares give different tuning.

i am trying to tune it to 36Hz

here are the dimensions:

30.5x17x19 (WxHxD) outer dimensions ==> 4.5cuft gross volume

sub displacement: 0.123cuft

0.75 thick wood

VENT:

15.5x3.5 x 23"( 23" is the vent total length)

port area: 54.25sqin

i need someone to tell me four things:

1. what should be the total length of the vent to tune it to 36hz

2. what should i keep the length of each arm of the L port?

3. what is the net volume after displacement. I reckon it shud be around 3.5cuft

4. Is this design good for a vented 15"

what are your guys opinion of making a port to fire it out the side of a box with a straight port..instead of an L bend??

my friend built a box for someone for 2 12 w6s (maybe w3s) and it beats.

however i usually sit down and take some quality time and design my own boxes, and use port calculators online to help.

3.5cuft of net volume after displacement (approx figure, depending on the port area and length)

port area of 54.25sqin (15.5x3.5)

Tuning of 34Hz
