i was thinking of buying ilaydit's MT 15, but he said it has 4 stiffs on it, what is the downfall for having this instead of 3? if i get this one and it has 4, should i buy the recone kit for the 18 in a 4 stiff? or buy 2 recones and go from there

or what?

i would only be running a a3000 per sub at .7, 2300rms ish ,take into account other stuff

and what about coils, he said that it read a final load of 1.1, but everytime i ve measured mine it was alaways like.5higher than supposed to, he said it was dual 2, but i need dual 1.4, but one time i think he said it was 1.4 but i dont remember

biggest diff in spider number/type is going to be the obv one, yours (w/ quad stiff spiders) is going ot be able to take more power mechanically/excusion wise as compared to one that had 3 soft or stiff.....not really a downfall......just different

touch the + and - of the multimeter and see if it reads .5 or .6ohms....alot of times a basic multimeter will have some internal resistance (educated guess) that will give it an extra .4 - .7ohms that you just subtract from the numbe rit gives you.....it should read dead on if you subtract the number it gives you when u test the multimeters resistance from the number it gives you when u test VC ohms...

note: i think this only happens with tiny measurements, if you start measureing bigger ohms and such it will read accuately
