I'm using bassbox for my design for my kicker cvr 12 and these are parts I need

Box Parts (Optimum Square Prism)

1 Top, 1 Bottom: 9.621 © x 14.64 (b) in

0.75 (thick) in

1 Front, 1 Back: 21.26 (a) x 13.14 (d) in

0.75 (thick) in

2 Sides: 21.26 (a) x 9.621 © x 0.75 (thick) in

Total 1.313 cu ft

My ? is what should i cut first short or long side:confused:

cut 14 by 14 then cut 9 by 9

I'm using 24 x 48 .75 MDF sheets

Mark out your pieces on the wood first to make sure you can get it all out of one piece. Then after you have determined they all will fit just pick any piece and start cutting.

If you have a table saw, then it should be no problem for you. I've seen guys use battery powered rotary saws to make boxes. I've used an electric rotary saw to make two boxes myself.

Like people have said, use a straghtedge or a clamping tool guide to trace out all your pieces. Cut the big ones first and then see what you can salvage out of the remaining pieces.
