Also, what are you looking at as far as performance, do you want it to be as loud as possible from 1000 RMS, or have the cleanest and most acousticial sound? or a mix of both. Also is that amp 1000 RMS @ 1 ohm, becuase then you'll need a Dual 2 ohm sub.

also im not looking for loudness i want clean bass with accurate lows and a full bass spectrum.

i loved the hx2's but rockford isnt the same anymore still good just not great like they use to be
