i was about to buy an 87 gti with a 2.9l vr6 swap for $8700, and THE DAY i was gonna go pick it up, he told me it wasn't running right, but still wanted to sell it cause he and his wife were moving, so he told me i could just have it for $5k, and it ended up only costing ~$800 to fix it. That made my day
