i was about to buy an 87 gti with a 2.9l vr6 swap for $8700, and THE DAY i was gonna go pick it up, he told me it wasn't running right, but still wanted to sell it cause he and his wife were moving, so he told me i could just have it for $5k, and it ended up only costing ~$800 to fix it. i havent really had alot of deals but best two were probably...

$100 for a 15" type R in a dual ported box. (bought)

$500 for 2 12" xplodes in a prefab box with a like 300 watt sony amp (sold)

It was quite a gamble, tho. One of the cylinders had 0 compression, and could have been a problem with the bottom end, which would have costed a FORTUNE to fix, but ended up just being a few bent valves.

I just happened to get lucky.

best deal to date was telling these 2 chicks i was a director and asked if they liked playing with erector sets and they said yes.....

ooohhhh my bad you meant audio that'd be my kicker xs-50 i got for 35 bucks or the p1r i bought for 180 on ebay and sold for 425 locally.

I take this back. The BEST deal i ever got was going into my room to pass out after throwing a party last year, and walking in on two chicks going at it in my bed, and as i started to lay down on the floor and pass out, one of 'em grabbed me by the hair and told me to get in
